What is a Croquette?

A croquette is a fried, breaded roll of meat or cheese, popular in many countries throughout the world, but the Majesty Foods variety is especially popular throughout Latin America. The fillings range in variety, but usually contain potatoes, ground meat or vegetables. These cylindrical shaped snack foods are ideal when served during a cocktail or as an appetizer. They are easy to prepare and a convenient snack item. You can find them in both the deli and frozen food sections of your local supermarket.

Ham Croquette

Crispy, bite sized logs of smooth ground ham and seasonings coated in bread crumbs. Croquettes (or Croquetas de Jamón) are the perfect breakfast or snack! It is commonly eaten with a soda cracker and coffee.

Chicken Croquette

Deliciously crispy bread crumb coated chicken and seasonings. A mixture of chicken, bread crumbs, sauteed onion, parsley and light seasoning make a delicious breakfast or lunch grab and go.
